File access denied
- Error message
- File access denied.
- Description
- When you launch the trial version of the program an error message is displayed that reads, "File access denied."
- Common reason for this error
- Typically this issue happens when "write" permissions are not allowed the System32 folder (c:\windows\system32) of your system.
- Troubleshooting tip
- To resolve this issue "write" permissions temporarily need to be allowed on this folder. With "write" permissions allowed, launch the program. After the program is opened the first time you can restore the "write" permissions to the original setting. Because this solution requires a temporary change to the Windows folder permissions, it is recommended that you contact your system administrator or technology manager for assistance.
