Description

This error message is displayed when you launch the program.

Common reason for this error

The program compatibility settings assigned to Methuselah.exe and emLaunch.exe are preventing the program from launching correctly.

Troubleshooting tip

Consider changing the program compatibility settings for Methuselah.exe and emLaunch.exe. To do this...

1. Right click on the Methuselah MVP icon on your desktop, then in the pop-up menu select Properties. The property menu should appear.
2. Click the Open File Location button, and the installation folder will open.
3. In this folder, locate the executable files named EMLaunch.exe and Methuselah.exe.
4. Right click on Methuselah.exe then in the pop-up menu select Properties. The Properties window will open for this file.
5. Goto the Compatibility tab, then in the Privilege Level group check the box Run this program as an administrator.
6. Click OK to exit this window.
7. Repeat the above steps for EMLaunch.exe.
8. When you are finished, launch Methuselah and login.
