What is Methuselah?
Methuselah is an innovative and user-friendly financial planning software tool that helps advisors build lasting client relationships. Methuselah enables advisors to present tailored solutions to help their clients meet their specific financial goals and objectives.
While a comprehensive toolset; the software supports quick and efficient case creation for standard "goals based" plans. The side by side layout of data input and analysis allows the advisor to immediately see the impact of plan modifications, one of the many time saving features of Methuselah.
How much does Methuselah cost?

For individual licenses, No! Your license includes setup, future maintenance releases and unlimited customer support.

What are the system requirements for Methuselah?
Methuselah is designed for computers running Windows XP, Vista, 2000 or later. Based on the past experiences of our clients and testing by Financial Guidance, here is a list of what you need to run Methuselah. Please keep in mind that systems meeting the minimum requirements will perform noticeably slower than systems meeting or exceeding the recommended specifications.

How do I install Methuselah?

By default Methuselah is installed in location listed below. During the installation process an option is provided to change this location.

Before I use Methuselah are there program settings that I need to configure?
No, there are not settings that you need to configure. Methuselah is pre-configured with default settings that let you begin using the program right away.
Are there any configuration options in Methuselah to adapt the program to my business situation?
Yes! There are standard and customized configuration options available with Methuselah. See the Setting User Preferences section of the Methuselah Getting Started Guide for information about the standard configuration options. For information about customized configuration options in Methuselah, contact Customer Support.

How do I run Methuselah?
For information, see Launching Methuselah for the first time.
What if I forgot my username / password combination?
You can retrieve your username / password combination by email or telephone.
- To retrieve your username / password combination by email
- Click the "Forgot User Name or Password?" link on the Methuselah Login screen.
- When you do so, you will be prompted to enter the email address for your user account.
- After this is done, it will be emailed to you.
- To retrieve your username / password combination by telephone
- Contact Customer Support.
I have Methuselah, how do I use it?

Can I share client files with other Methuselah users?
Yes. Individual users can share client files with other Methuselah users by "importing" the other user's client file. See Transferring client files between computers for more information.
How do I move client files to another copy of Methuselah?
See above. The steps to move a client file to another copy of Methuselah are the same as the steps to share a client file with another Methuselah user.
Program Updates – Information on the Update service for Methuselah
Is there an additional charge to obtain a program updates?
No! Program updates are available at no additional charge.
How often are updates released?
Methuselah is always evolving and we want to share new functionality and improvements with our users. We try to produce updates whenever new and useful features are available, or when a fix to known issue is ready. These updates can occur several times a year. No one is required to download an update, however we recommended that you do so.
How do I find out when program updates are available?
An automated Update service is provided with Methuselah. When an internet connection is enabled on your computer and you log-in to the program, it will automatically check to see if the latest updates are installed on your computer. If you do not have the latest updates, the Update prompt will appear.

How do I download and install a program update?
To download and install the latest updates, click Install Now on the prompt.
Can I install the update on a computer that does not have an internet connection?
Yes. You can copy the update to another computer and install it manually. For more information, contact Customer Support.
